The Robins

On a Saturday afternoon, when the Spring winds and chill were in full swing and the sky threatened rain, I met with Alice, Aaron + Alexis at the beach for their maternity shoot.

On first greeting, it was as if I had known Alice - so down to earth and seemingly very comfortable with me behind the camera. Little Alexis was kept busy by the soft sand and plentiful shells, but this only made for some fun moments captured between mum and dad - not without the "this reminds me of our wedding photos" response to some classic prompts.

I honestly thought this weather was going to be a challenge, but with the genuine, relaxing energy of my clients and the overcast sky, this shoot turned out to be a favourite. And we captured some magic moments!
