The Experience with TSP
I would say I do things differently. I’m not a typical "poses driven, directing your every move during a shoot" kinda’ photographer. I pose you, sure, but it’s the moments either side of those poses that I do my best to seek out. Candid and natural. Your reaction to the silly directions I give, my honest and awkward commentary to get you to laugh.
A hill I will absolutely die on when I say, these are the moments that make for the best speaking photos. The ones that say a lot with just one laugh, or one look.
So, do the hand holding, the nose touches and the walking away from me, but trust that these are not the only moments I am capturing. Trust that I am observing your connection with those you love, and doing my best to portray those feelings in photo.

Let's have a chat
I will respond to your email enquiry with some more information/guidance to your questions, + my availability.
We can also set up a FaceTime, phone call or In-person consult to go over your vision and expectations for your shoot.
We will set a booking date, location and time via email.
Once payment has been received, your shoot date has been secured!
The Creating
Shoot day! Turn up in your best dressed and lets create some special memories.
We will chat and get comfortable before the shoot begins. This part of the process is very important to me, to make you feel as comfortable as possible and build that trust for you to get the most out of our time together.
Your shoot will begin with the focus on each other, or your child, and we will ease into it.
I will guide you with prompts that evoke natural emotion and connection. The best!
Gallery + deliverables
The first few days following your shoot, you will receive some Sneak Previews in your online gallery. From here, you can download and like your images. Your full gallery will be uploaded within the next 2-3 weeks following, and Photo book delivered.
FAQ's
How do we book a session?
Simply send me an email or use my Contact enquiry form to start a conversation. We will discuss your vision, pick a date, and secure the booking with a signed contract and payment.
How many final images will I receive?
As a chronic "over shooter", I do tend to over deliver. Depending on the Package, you will receive 50+ beautifully edited digital images via an Online Gallery. Please note your client gallery does have an expiration date - so be sure to download all your images to a secure external drive.
What should we wear?
Choose comfortable, seasonally appropriate clothing that reflects your style and makes you feel naturally confident. I recommend coordinating rather than perfectly matching. Neutral and earthy tones photograph best. Avoid large, distracting logos or heavily printed graphics. I have a recent blog post covering this for more tips!
What if we don't want our images shared?
I absolutely respect this request, photos can be extremely personal to some people. I will always ask your permission before sharing anything to my socials or website. So, no hard feelings, please just let me know!
Where will my photo shoot be held?
Upon enquiry, we will decide the best package option, and the best location option. Open grassy reserves and Beaches within Nelson/Tasman are great options for the space to move and play - and the lush greens in your photos! Motherhood 02 will be shot in home at your place.
