I’m not a typical "poses driven, directing your every move during a shoot" kinda’ photographer. I pose you, sure, but it’s the moments either side of those poses that I do my best to seek out. Candid and natural.
Your reaction to the silly directions I give, my honest and awkward commentary to get you to laugh. A hill I will absolutely die on when I say, these are the moments that make for the best speaking photos. The ones that say a lot with just one laugh, or one look.
A relaxed experience, from beginning to end.
Before - from choosing a location to deciding what to wear, I’ll help you bring everything together so you’re not left figuring it out alone.
During - forget stiff poses and forced smiles. I’ll give you gentle direction and prompts, while leaving plenty of room for movement, play and those beautifully unscripted moments.
After - you’ll receive a carefully curated gallery filled with the big moments and the tiny ones — the photographs that feel like your people.

FAQ's
How do we book a session?
Simply send me an email or use my Contact enquiry form to start a conversation. We will discuss your vision, pick a date, and secure the booking with a signed contract and payment.
How many final images will I receive?
As a chronic "over shooter", I do tend to over deliver. Depending on the Package, you will receive 50+ beautifully edited digital images via an Online Gallery. Please note your client gallery does have an expiration date - so be sure to download all your images to a secure external drive.
What if we don't want our images shared?
I absolutely respect this request, photos can be extremely personal to some people. I will always ask your permission before sharing anything to my socials or website. So, no hard feelings, please just let me know!
Where will my photo shoot be held?
Upon enquiry, we will decide the best package option, and the best location option. Open grassy reserves and Beaches within Nelson/Tasman are great options for the space to move and play - and the lush greens in your photos!
